How to boot from a USB Device on my EX2 Ultra?

Hello,

my EX2 Ultra is bricked, the orange Power LED is blinking.
Is it possible to boot the EX2 Ultra from a USB Drive and if so, how do I do this, since I am not really in the game with NAS devices.
