How to add MBL to Vmware Esxi 6.5 for additional storage?

Hi guys,
I am new to this community so please bear with me, thanks.

So I have the below setup at home -

My Book Live 2TB plugged into my router
I have a fujitsu x300 server with just 128gb of hard drive
The server has VMware ESXI 6.5 installed on it
I have enabled ssh on the MBL drive
I would like to have additional storage on the server so that I can create VM on it and would like to use MBL for that.

I have looked around for a step by step guide on how to do that but could not find one. Please can some one give me step by step guide or point me to another where this has already been discussed will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance

Hi,

I haven’t try that.

Let’s see if any of the users can share some information about it.

Found this on YouTube

I will redo the vm to version 6 and then try.
Thanks

IT is not as hard as you think. It is something similar to the VCenter server. It manages virtual machines, multiple ESXi hosts, and all dependent components from a single centralized location. It is not a new technology, but it is reaching some really great levels these years. It is becoming more and more popular among different private companies that specialize in their business online. You can find a vsphere webclient download file on the internet, and I am sure with a bit of practice, you will understand how everything works there.
