hi !

how to access to the network Drives My Book MyBookWorld White Ligh) behind my router which is behind my internet modem box ?

i plug the  the External Drives WD My Book My Book World (White Light) behind my router (192.168.1.20) and have an ip 10.0.0.2

my computer is directly plug on the modem box and i have an ip 192.168.1.10

i’m under windows 7 x64, so how can i access the nas drive ?

i didn’t install the discovery software cause i think it will not find the drive behind the routeur ?

shall you help me ?

ps : i cannot plug the hard drive behind the internet modem box  cause there is no free ethernet port anymore.

Hi there, first, you need to fix your network layout.

Connect the router itself directly to the computer, then connect the MBW and the modem to the router. You will see that now all the IP addresses will be closer to that of the router.
