Mine makes a little noise while I am copying over files…kind of a “snick” computery sound. I can’t think of any other way to describe it. Is this normal? I’ve had it since December, and I’ve never dropped it or banged it or anything. It’s exactly halfway full.
Low level noises from any drive are normal. You can always test your drive for errors, just in case:
