Trying to get the Ultra back to original configuration. Windows Explorer no longer even recognizes the Ultra. It does eject the Ultra but when reconnected, it says “Please insert a disk into Removable Disk (E:)”. I guess I’ve really messed it up. Thanks for any help. I know you are busy.

I believe you will have to delete both partitions and then format the drive again.

Unfortunately, I could not find a way to use Win7 Disk Management function to do that as the delete function was inactive.
However, I used WD Drive Utilities tool to erase the drive. Win7 Disk Management now recognizes it as Disk 1 931.48 GB Healthy (Primary Partition). I don’t know what all that means but I was able to use the drive to store an image of C:\ drive.
