Hi everyone.
So I started hearing random clicks/popup sounds from the part of notebook where the HDD is located. I diagnosed HDD with firmware’s Build In HDD test. The quick test was passed how ever the full test go stuck at 97% and when progress dots disappeared, I had no option but to abort it but the PC didn’t responded even then. So I did the Hard restart.
I grabbed CrystelDiskInfo to check the SMART status and this is what it shows-
I understand that My HDD is gonna die but the real question is how long do I have ? I’m planning to purchase a new machine but want to wait a little longer for newer Nvidia’s Pablo builds to become more widely available to be able to get a better deal provided that my HDD has enough life left in it for me to copy everything to the new machine.
Can anyone please help me with this ?
