I made the mistake of running apt-get upgrade, bricking my WD My Cloud. I power cycled the device, holding down the reset button for 40+ seconds. The LED is still white, and the Dashboard is unavailable. How long can I expect to wait for everything to go blue again?

A full factory restore can only be executed from within the Dashboard or SSH. The reset switch is a soft reset for network settings and Dashboard user access.
Maybe you should try contacting WD’s Technical Support about this. You can do so either by phone or email.

That’s terrible. The reason I want to perform a full factory restore is that both the Dashboard and SSH are now unavailable.
