I am trying to copy several thousands of photographs to my new MyBook Essential 2TB, and it seems that the maximum speed it can achieve is just over 7 MB/sec. Is this normal? The drive is attached to a USB 2 port at the back of the PC. When using a front port, the speed drops to 5 MB/sec.
