Iam not too technical with networks and would like to know my above question please. I just have a laptop and want to be able to transfer my music and films easy from it. Do you just plug ethernet from laptop to the player and drag and drop??? Iam so tempted to buy one but my lack of knowledge with networking laptop to hub iss putting me off a little. Also is a 3d update in the pipe line as it has 1.4 hdmi? Thanks in advance
Transferring data through a wired network using a router is a lot faster than connecting wirelessly. When both your laptop and the hub are connecting to the router, you can access the hard drive of the hub from your laptop so you transfer files from there. You can also directly connect your laptop to the hub but you have to use a crossover cable.
