How do you store media library files all in one folder?

Is it possible for the WD Live TV 2nd gen to store Media Library files all in one folder inside “.wd tv” instead of creating a separate folder for each movie at the root level?

It makes quite a mess of my hard drive.

Is it possible to have the device store:

  • all movie poster images
  • all background images
  • all movie sheet data
  • any other meta data

locally on a USB thumbdrive?  That would be sweet because it wouldn’t completely make a mess out of our movie drives.  And we don’t have to risk kids deletings entire folders because it wouldn’t need WRITE access.

I Think that option is not possible, but check the manual to see if you can find something.

there’s nothing in the manual about this.

If you are talking about the ‘Get Content’ data then NO you cannot change it.
