How do I stream a movie from my cloud to my TV using Google's Chromecast?

I’ve just bought the new My Cloud (4T) device that is sold in the Costco, and connected it to my network.

I transfer some movies to the public share folder and would love to watch them on my TV.

My TV is not a smart TV but I use Google’s Chromecast to stream to it.

How do I stream from the “My Cloud”?

I know that there are apps that I can use, but where do I install them?

Could you please explain step by step?

You will need to find info about your Chromecast and see if they are both compatible and will work together.
