How do i restore my drive partition backedup with the native western digital software?

I have a My Book Essentials 2.0 with 320 gigs and used the natie backup program. the resulting files were

 xxxxx.001, xxxxx.002, xxxx.dat, xxxxx.xml, etc…

I tried running the setup probram that is on the harddisk but the menu option were blank and had the words “undefined”.

I ran it from windows vista.

So, is there another program\utility i could use to restore these files?
