I have a WD 1TB external drive (Model SRDF00F1). Some time ago I partitioned it into 2 x 500 GB partitions, one to back up from a Windows laptop and one to backup from a Mac. I no longer need the partition for the Windows backup and want to remove it so that I have a full 1TB for my Mac backup. How do I do this? I see in Disk Utility that I can create more partitions, but I can’t see how to remove the partition. Thanks.
You could refer to the following link: https://support.apple.com/en-in/guide/disk-utility/dskutl14027/mac
Right-click the existing partition on the external hard drive, select Delete Volume and choose to remove the partition.
