How do I Reload My Book Essential after hard drive wiped clean?

My hard drive had to be wiped clean. My Book Essential does not show up in My Computer. What do I have to do to reinstall?

Look in Disk Management and see if it has a letter assigned if not give int one.

Hi,

There can be many possible reasons for this issue

  1. Might be the drive lost its file system and turned unallocated
  2. Drive is inserted in the right port
  3. Drive lost its name, need to reassign drive letter

Check if these are the issue.
