How do I partionate WD My Cloud

Hi!

I have been using my WD MyCloud for a while for backups through time maching (im on osx 10.9.5). Now I have been using 1 Gb of space on the harddrive and I now want to partionate the harddrive so I can use the rest of the harddrive to other stuff. So the WD MyCloud doesnt use the whole disc for backups.

How can I partinate the WD MyCloud (without erasing everyting thats on the drive … is it possible)

You can’t partition a NAS.

But you can configure a Time Machine maximum size in the My Cloud web GUI.
