How do i get to my data

Haven’t used the MyCloud device for ages (model WDBCTL0040HWT-NESN) can log on to the device using wdmycloud via Chrome but I can’t access any of the folders / files (photos and video of my young son). I’m logged in as admin. Tried using the app on my iPad but it seems to only want to backup the pictures on my iPad to MyCloud (which is not what I want to do).

If this is a local network My Cloud then just use Windows File Explorer or Mac Finder, or a file manager app on a mobile device, to access the My Cloud. Windows users will need to ensure SMB1.0/CIFS is enabled however as Microsoft disables this setting in later Windows updates.

If one has set a Share to Private using the My Cloud Dashboard then one will need to use a User and Password (created through the My Cloud Dashboard) to access a Private Share.
