How do I create sub-folders which are accessible to all users on my network

Hi fellow WD Users,

I’ve just installed my new My Book World 2TB on my home network. With only two laptops on it normally (Mac Powerbook OS x 10.5 and Macbook Pro OS X 10.6), I have used the browser interface for My Book World and created full read/write access for admin and both users for all folders on the My Book.

But while both machines can read/write individual files dropped onto these folders, if I create any sub-folders, it would appear that these are unavailable to all but the user who created them. So my question (one of many at the mom) is how do I create sub-folders which are accessible to all users?

With my utmost thanks in advance to anyone who takes the trouble to respond

Kind Regards

Bernard

PS. In case it’s relevant the My Book World tells me that it’s firmware is up to date (NAS Firmware 01.01.18 with MioNet 4.1.1.9)
