How do I create Metadata?

Perhaps I don’t understand the process, but I have a drive which stores all my movies. How do I get it to show metadata for each movie?

Since you are dealing with movies, the hub can do that for you. Just browse those movies in the hub then in each movie, press the options button in the remote and select Get Content Info. Just follow the process and you’ll have your metadata and picture for each movie.

You can always use some external tools, like thumbgen!

It seems Thumgen is for PC. Is there anything for Mac?

This is a little tool that retrieves the metadata for movies as well, but it is also for windows.

Thumbgen looks sexier, but apparantly it doesn’t get the images (yet)…

Apparently the latest version of thumbgen should get the images anyway…
