How do I change the password for My Book Essential?

I installed the WD software and entered a password.Now I want to change the password. How do I change the password? I have tried double-clicking the icon labeled “CD Drive (J:) WD SmartWare” that appears when I open My Computer, but it doesn’t do anything. I am running Windows 7 on my desktop computer. The drive has 1TB of capacity.
