How can you specifically select what you backup?

This is pointless, i want to be able to select what movies I put on the harddrive.

This was a christmas present to me, I want an external harddrive I can easily take from computer to computer and move large amounts of files, should I return this?

I don’t think so with Smartware it uses it’s own method. Remember never trust your important data to one physical drive internal or external regardless of the maker.You can uninstall the Smartware and use it like a regular drive,
