I have forgotten the password on my WDMyCloud v04.05.00-342 : Core F/W share. I do have the administrative password and have access to the admin dashboard. I am planning on upgrading my PC and will need to set the share password on the new PC to be able to access my data from the new PC. How can I recover my current password for the share?
Now, I cannot even get into my share from my old account. I did several things that led me to this more severe problem. I clicked on my user name and created a new password thinking that was the password for my share. It changed my admin password instead. I made the share public and then returned to public off and now I need the password to access the share and I don’t know it.
How can I recover my password for the share?
