Newly I bye a WD internal HDD. But after 1 day it’s not get power. So I am not be able access my data. I lose this. How can I recover this. I saw on HDD has 8 Pin port. Why it;s use? Please anyone help me.

I’d recommend you to check and make sure that the connecting media for your external hard drive is working properly.

You can call WD for support and ask for replacement as its just purcahsed and pretty new.
