Ok, so I was uploading video files into my “My Book” and it was written for 29 MB/sec. Is there any way to improve it, or at least a way to increase the general performance of it? I want to increase it in order to make the videos turn out close to perfect in quality.
If you are certain you are using a USB 3.0 port on your computer with no USB hubs or extensions in between then I’d recommend updating your system’s drivers. 29 MB/s is USB 2.0 speed, not USB 3.0.
If your USB 3.0 drivers are updated and other USB 3.0 devices perform better in this computer then I’d recommend testing your hard drive for errors using WD SmartWare, WD Data Lifeguard Diagnostics, or WD Drive Utilities depending on the generation of your hard drive.
I would go to your local college, find the tallest building and find a student that plays on the baseball team and get him to throw it!
Should get it to go WAY faster then you could ever throw it!
