How can i create hidden folder WD Word Edition II?

i want to create hidden folder in wd word edition II ?

exp:

in windows when share folder name “test$”

test folder is not visible in network. test folders target is : ipadres\test$

so,

how can i do this in wd word edition II

Do you want to create a hidden or private folder?

Private folder can be done trough the interface.

Hidden not sure can be done.

To create a hidden folder just right click on the folder that you would like to hide then click on properties and under General click in the Hidden check box, once you do that the folder will be invisible. If you would like to see the folder again from the tool bar just click on Tools/Folder Options/View/Advanced Settings/Hidden Files and Folders and click on Show hidden files and folders.

when create a folder in wd interface, all folders visible on network.

i want to create non visible folder in wd interface

maybe new update or new firmware

That’s what I thought. Private shares will serve your purposes. they’re visible, but no one will be able to access the files.

they can see, they can read filenames, but cannot open
