Can one safely use a WD 3tb Red NAS drive to replace a failed WD 3tb Enterprise drive in an all WD 3tb Enterprise hardware Raid 5 box?

Please note that is recommended that you use the same type of drive as the one that you already have on the RAID system.

So if you RE drive installed, it is recommended that you use the same type of units. Meaning that the drives should have the same specifications.
