High resolution photos don't display correctly

Hi,

I have a WD TV Live Medi Player and use t to stream content from my QNAP media server to my Philips 40PFL6606K - 40". But since I have firmware version 1.09.10 on it, I cannot view photos higher than resolution 1200X1600 anymore - the photos look all blury. I tried various different settings, but nothing helps. I also tried to roll back to the previous version, but that has not helped either (trying an even older version next). But how can it be that suddenly I can’t view photos any longer when that was possible ithout any problems for months before that?

I can view these photos when I connect the media server directly to the TV, so it can’t be a problem with the TV or the media server.

Any idea anyone?

Try deleting the imbedded EXIF thumbnail from the JPG file.

That’s not a “FIX,” really, but it should shed some light on what’s happening.
