High LCC on WD 3 TB Red

Hello All,

I’m new here.

A few months ago I changed my WD greens ( with LCC over 600.000) to Wd Red’s in my Qnap nasdrive.

Now after just a few months the LCC of the red’s look high already.

I thought the LCC issue was solved in these Wd Red drives.

Need I be worried ( again ) ?

Hi Mark68 and welcome to the community :) LCC shouldn’t have a major impact to the drives. However, we do a utility posted on our download page to help with the Load/Unload count. I included a link below.
