High amount of processes running

Hi All,
My device GUI is very slow, I read in the forum that it could be due to the high number of processes running.

I have reset the device to factory defaults and the problem persists, when I looked at the running processes there are about 60 running.

Is it normal for a newly setup device to be running 60 processes and the memory at 50%.

Hi, I found a tip here in the community I use when have high CPU usage or see NAS IS DOING SOMETHING AND i DON’T USE IT…

/etc/init.d/wdphotodbmergerd stop
/etc/init.d/wdmcserverd stop
/etc/init.d/wdnotifierd stop
/etc/init.d/wddispatcherd stop
killall crond
drive_sleep.sh off
sleep 1
drive_sleep.sh on
hd_standby.sh 5

It works!
