HI! How can I reanimate HDD?

Sorry for my bad english :(.
the BIOS does not detect my HDD WD2500AAKX. I found exactly the same working donor. Removed from it a Board and put on a non-working disk, but it too is not defined in BIOS. Please advise how to properly replace the Board.
