if anyone got text updates on their RMA, post here.
But as far as I can tell, it’s dead.
Their RMA status page never updates, doesn’t add tracking, so text alerts don’t happen. just a waste of time signing up
indeed, its a broken feature
i signed up for SMS notifications and then never got 1 text besides “thanks for enrolling”
2 weeks later hard drive was sitting on the porch. who knows how long it was there. WD doesn’t send text updates.
WD has taken 2020 off. they aren’t really operating much. their stock is down 50% to $33. almost 5 year low.
