Backups are not my strong suit, so please bear with me. I purchased the 3TB My cloud with the intention of using the cloud feature in the future. The main use will be for backing up 3 Dell machines on my home network ( all with Windows 8.1). With help from here, I have the drive and the 3 machines backing up, by category, with WD Smartware and all appear to be working fine. (I can see newer dates on changed files)
I now would like to have system Images of the 3 machines also stored on the MY Cloud. Since WD smartware doesn’t do this, I believe Windows System Image Backup will work for me, however, I am not clear as to where, in the directory structure of My Cloud) to send the images to. I want them to be secure, in the event, I use the cloud feature.
