Help! WD My Passport, recovery a too many bad sectors detected Drive

Hi, I have a problem with my WD My Passport Essential SE.

All my Personal and Familiar Pictures, documentations and everything is on this disk, Please Help Me to save it

I connect the USB cable and then the WD SmartWare Drive Unlock ask me the for the password, then unlock button and the screen stuck for some minutes and then a new message

" Format the drive before you can use it" I press cancel, and the SmartWare Drive Unlock Windows appears again and again…

I check in the device manager and recognize the 2 partitions the WD Unlocker and other big Partition not assigned.

Then run the Data Lifeguard Tools and get the too many bad sectors detected message.

Exist any possibility to fix that’s sectors and recover my data?

Thanks for your Time and Help!!!

Welcome to the Community.

It looks like file system corruption. First you could try with a file system repair tool from the Internet. If this does not work it’s best to contact a specialized Data Recovery company for hard drive diagnostics and data extraction. On the meanwhile I would advice against using the hard drive in order to prevent further damage to the file system.
