HELP! "There was a problem starting- ~$WWFVFEV.NFC

Hey all,

I just got a new computer, Acer, and my WD Passport now won’t open, it worked just fine before on my laptop but now there is just a shortcut when it is connected and when I try to open it, I get the following message:

There was a problem starting- ~$WWFVFEV.NFC

The specified module could not be found

I tried downloading the drivers and stuff but nothing has worked, I really can’t lose all the files!

P/N: WDBACY5000ABK-00

Any help would be greatly appreciated, the sooner the better please!

As s troubleshooting step be sure to connect the Passport directly to the laptop, use the USB cable that came bundled with the Passport. You can also run a test using DLG. Check the link below.
