Help! PR2100 keeps blinking blue light (Drive light)

I recently installed a Seagate IronWolf 12TB (ST12000NE0008) in JBOD. Everything works just fine except the drive light keeps blinking blue. Which is very disturbing.

I’ve consulted WD online support if I could install drive capacity more than 10TB, they suggested to install no big than 6TB, which I think does not make any sense.

Now this 12TB drive works normal in my PR2100. Cannot find a solution to this blinking blue light.

Can anyone help here? Please.

My Cloud: Blinking Blue Drive LED (wd.com)

Update: I tried eveything the official docs: But still does not turn into steady blue.

The suppport guy tells me they have concerns about the power AC cannot support bigger capacity drives.
I just worried if it has something related to this blinking blue.

It’s been installed for over a week already, should not be still indexing? It’s running the latest firmware 5.26.119.

Thanks XDX!

Yes, agree on the bigger drives situation.

I’ve always install as JBOD, did not find anywhere to apply RAID roaming. Should I change to RAID mode?

Yes, already used around 3TB in this new drive Volume_2.

So you suggest I should re-install this drive and enable this RAID Roaming? I tried reboot, but nothing changes.

Understand. I’ll give it another week. The Cloud access is disabled last week since the WD Cloud serivce is down. I did try to re-enable this, but did not success, still disabled today. Better if it is just indexing, not something physically damaging my PR2100.

Thanks anyway, XDX!
