I originally backed up data from a laptop, but then backed up some files from a pc.
After it had backed up one lot of files, I was unable to find the elements device on the pc.
I connected it back up to the laptop and it won’t open on there either.
I have finally managed to find the device on ‘device manager’, but when I double click on the short cut icon to open the files an error message comes up stating
The device or shortcut connection that the shortcut ‘Elements (E) - shortcut.Ink’ refers to is unavailable. make sure that the disk is properly inserted or the network resource is available, and then try again.
Any advice would be appreciated on how to gain access

Are you sure the drive letter didn’t change to something other than E?

I cant find anything other than C drive when its connected.
