does anyone have any idea or solution?
I installed a new HDD (used the unpick method from fox_exe). All went well. I uploaded the first firmware to the device, all went well again. After that I uploaded the FW to the 2.31.174 The Storage was suddenly gone with volume failure.
looking forward for any kind of support.

have you done the “volume setup” portion of the process? EG, when the storage tab is visible, and you can pick raid type, and all that jazz?
It was greeted out. And sold that piece of electronic immediately after that issue.

so… I just unbricked my GEN2 My cloud V2.xxxxxxx / V5.xxxxxxx
the way i did it was as follows:
Download everything in this folder WdmycloudUnbrick - Google Drive
it contains
the v2 xxxx firmware
the instructions.txt
the ‘boot’ folder (contains 4 other files)
Follow instructions and Done!!!
