Help me in RMA Process

Hi,

i have one 1 tb wd black hdd… Which I bought around 2012. It is stop working so before replacing the drive I just checked the warranty status… It came with 5 year warranty which expire at 2017. I can rma it but have one problem.

My 5 year child remove & tear the wd sticker which is usually have drive information. Yet I have serial number & other’s info… As well as drive in perfect condition just “S.M.A.R.T” of the drive is failed.

Does I can able to RMA it without problem… ???

Please help…

How did your child remove that?  Mine doesn’t come off that easily

I’m just looking at my drive now and it says warranty will be void if seal, label,  or cover is removed or damaged.
