HELP!

I was hoping to use the MyCloud Duo as a file space where I could create and store new photos. It appears that the Duo is strictly a backup device for the internal drive on my iMac.

So, I reformatted the MyBook and connected it to the iMac as an external drive. I moved the gazillion photos to the external drive. My thinking was that I could use the Duo to back up the internal and external drives. It appears that my scheme did not work.

Have I done something wrong?
