Help! I can't find an excel file that didn't save...

I was working on an excel file saved in my WD drive and even though the setting was supposed to autosave every 10 minutes, I somehow lost the latest file. Now it only opens the one I modified 1.5 months ago and I lost a ton of work. How do I find autosaved files when I’m saving directly on the WD drive?
