ok - this is going to sound like a stupid question - but how do i sort music and videos into genre/artist etc?
It would be great to be able to go into Comedy and pick a funny movie etc.

NOT a stupid question; it’s kinda complicated.
GENRE is only applied to music. There’s no concept of Genre for Video / Photos.
This function is only supported if your media is DIRECTLY attached (via USB ports.) It is not supported via NAS or Shares.
The MEDIA LIBRARY is the function that does this; read more about it on Pg. 27 of the manual.
