The other day I managed to drop my external hard drive about 60cm onto tiles. It worked ok after that for about 2 minutes then it kept disconnecting. Now my computer wont read it. The led light is flashing, Under My Computer it shows the Hard Drive there but it says just local disk f: when I had a name for it originally. I can hear the Hard Drive spinning. Device Manager shows the hard drive but you can’t access any information.
Please help as I have very important items on this hard drive which I really need.
