I just got a new computer and upgraded the old one and now the drivers are no longer available from WD. Does anyone know where I might find this??

If you are using Windows XP or higher, no special driver is required as Windows uses a generic mass storage driver that’s part of the operating system. If you’re seeing a message requiring a WD SES driver, you can download it here. (Windows 7 or higher should download and install it automatically). As long as the drive isn’t password protected or you don’t need to configure the drive’s settings (i.e. LED light), then installation of this driver can be ignored.
Thank you. I did the install, and windows sees the drive, but then I get the error Access Denied. I know its an old drive, but it was working fine before I switched computers. Any ideas?
