HDTV LIVE suddenly no sound

Hi Guys, I have my HDTV live like 8 months ago using it regular connected to a LCD TV with hdmi.

Today I used it in the morning worked fine and now at night I want to see a movie and I notice no sound at all.

I tested several files mkv, avi, mp3 etc all files that have been played sometime in the device and there is no sound at all.

Does any body experience the same? Any solution? Looks like a hardware issue but I would like to think is something else. The TV works fine for regular cable or reproducing movies from USB directly.

PD: its a 2nd generation model.

Not that it makes any difference, but what do you mean by 2nd generation model? Have you tried resetting it?

Go into the system settings and select “Reset To Factory Defaults”

When that’s done, push the paperclip reset button on the side.

Once it re-boots, shut it off and leave it unplugged for 10 minutes if not longer.

When you plug it back in, you should be back in business until you try to play another .mkv file with compression in the headers, then you’ll have to do the resetting again to get it back working.

PD: TonyPh12345 with second generation model I was talking about the serial number of the devices, it matches the 2nd Gen that’s all.
