HDMI connection became "Mode not supported"

After no problem connection via HDMI of WDTV live  (different firmwares)  with Samsung LCD TV LE40M87BD, 

some day appears “Mode not supported” on TV. Was trying to reset player, change firmwares, set up mode 
both on AV and Component and then switch to HDMI - all negative result. Is it software or hardware problem, 
malfunction of player or TV? Even on startup, instead of logo “WD” have “Mode Not Supported”

Please advise solution! Thanks in advance!

Try to hook up a Component or Composite cable connection and reset your HDMI mode.

What you mean reset HDMI mode? If, change to another mode or set to auto, I did so:

“…Was trying to reset player, change firmwares, set up mode both on AV and Component and then switch to HDMI - all negative result.”

Hope that some smart manipulations with setup menu could solve problem.
