My Acer PC has 500 GB hdd which model is WD5000AAKX / S. NO is WCC2EYU45455. Here my system was used by my cousin earlier with Redhat OS. Now he returned to me. Now I’m trying to switch on that pc, it ask bios time hdd password. My cousin said nothing he did about this. But it’s ask every time. Without password I can go inside but hdd not detecting. After some searching in internet I’ve got the master password of wd hdd that is “WDCWDCWDCWDCWDCWDCWDC WDCWDCWDCWDCW” which is working. But I’m not able to disable this protection which means everytime I need to unlock this protection using this password. Here I want to disable this protection method. Please help anyone to save me money.
