Hey guys, I’ve set user password in my wdc notebook drive and forgot it. I need help with the master password of my hdd. I use WD_BLACK Performance hard disk. My model is WD10SPSX. If anyone has info please help.

Please be informed that in order to use the drive again you will have to reformat the drive which is a data destructive process.
I know this problem. It is very difficult to unlock a drive password if not impossible! There are also different levels of security. If it was set on MAX security when the password was set then forget it. Otherwise there is a procedure to unlock it using VICTORIA app or on Linux and WD master password but it doesn’t work on all hard drives! Also you wont be able to erase it and reuse it unless its unlocked first.
