I am trying to record HD TV programs on my newly 1TB My Passport Ultra portable drive. I am getting message “No Record Partition”, when I am attaching drive to cable box. I have already done partition and my Samsung tv and windows laptop can read drive. I tried various format like FAT32, VFAT, NTFS but facing same issue.
Hello, most of the cable box out there use their own partition tables which normally are not reachable using a computer. You might want to contact the cable box manufacturer or your cable company and see how you can format the drive to be used with it.
