I can see the My Cloud drive on the finder on my own network, but can’t see it remotely. I can access it when signed in to My Cloud, but the drive needs to be mounted. Help!
Officially you cannot remotely map/mount the My Cloud like you could last year. WD removed that capability from the WD2Go.com/MyCloud.com web portal last year when they released the “OS 3” firmware. WD has no plans to restore that option.
Unofficially if you have the first generation v4.x single bay My Cloud you can remote map/mount the My Cloud using the following unsupported app that can be install using SSH.
