Having a problem connecting to my WD my book world edition

I have gone throw quick install guide and I can not find my book. I can see it in my router but can not connect it to my computer. What can I do?

Have you tryed using the wd discovery software from the website here is a link for the download

I have exactly the same problem using Windows 7 64bit.  The installation disk will not run, but the NAS drive is visible under Windows Network.  I have downloaded the Discovery software and it cannot find any network drives. 

Is this a Windows 7 compatibility problem?
