Has there been any resolution to My Book and compatibility with macOS High Sierra?

I’ve been searching the internet, WD support and this forum to see if can find a fix but haven’t found anything yet. My WD My Book was working fine as auto sync back up to my MacBook Pro but since I updated to High Sierra it no longer works. I tried downloading the latest drivers but that didn’t help. I see others having the same issue but don’t see any resolution. I also have a ton of content archived on this drive that I can no longer access, and I don’t want to erase it. Any suggestions?

Have you tried to connect the drive with any other Mac computer?
